Health & Well-Being for All
Improved health and well-being contribute to greater economic prosperity.
Multiple factors contribute to our health and wellbeing, including our ability to have a safe home, healthy food, reliable transportation, and meet other basic needs. Education, access to meaningful employment, and connection to community also play important roles in our overall wellbeing. Our sense of economic security is key to our health and well-being.
NH Possible partners are making real progress in efforts to create a more affordable and accessible system that promotes greater health and well-being for all.
We all deserve the ability to access the health care we need when we need it. When we are healthy, we are better able to support the needs of our loved ones and we are more focused and productive at work. When our children are healthy, they are better able to learn and have a better foundation for achieving their future potential. When older adults can access the support they need and remain connected to their communities, they experience improved health and well-being.
Many of us face difficult choices due to rising health care costs. We shouldn’t have to choose between putting food on the table or refilling our prescriptions. We deserve to get critical medical testing when needed and still be able to pay the rent. None of us should have to worry that accessing medical care could cause us to lose our home or life savings.
We deserve an affordable healthcare system that works for us, and that supports our overall well-being and success. We deserve a system that is transparent about costs up front, and that provides access to quality care no matter where we live or how much money we make.
